- The
Foundation provides health services. Medical centres have been
set up at easily accessible places.
- Many
educational schemes such as scholarships for meritorious students
and teacher training centres for school staff are also sponsored
by the foundation. Computer training is also promoted in a big
way.
- The
Foundation aims at gender equality in schools. Midday meals have witnessed
a far greater increase in the number of girl students as opposed to
boys. Yet, in order to attract hesitant applicants, separate infrastructure
for girl students has also been constructed.
- On
a larger scale, community-based programs relating to afforestation,
wasteland development, environmental conservation and animal
husbandry have been undertaken.
- Research
on local problems of arid regions, relating specifically to child nutrition
and health is also funded by our organization.
